I’m interested in walking and what we discover when we take a walk. As well as my own experiences of walking, I’ll be inviting some friends to contribute their stories.
The idea is that when we walk, we take up just a little space physically, but also that walking creates a little space for new things to emerge.
I think there’s also the thought that the present moment, fleeting as it is, can still be a little space in time that can be enjoyed for what it is, not looking back to the past, or preoccupied with the future. The present moment is a little space.
The past doesn’t really exist. The future doesn’t exist either ! I’m learning to live more in the present, and walking definitely helps.
So follow me as we explore the joys, discoveries and challenges of walking.

About Me
I’m fortunate to be retired, and to have time to focus on some of my interests in a way that I couldn’t when I was working. In this blog, I’ll be collecting ideas about walking.
